An unknown questioner asks a knight what is wrong him. The knight is bereft, and appears to be dying. The knight answers that he met a beautiful lady, who he believed loved him. He set her on his horse, and she led him to a cave. There she had sung him a lullaby. In his sleep he had nightmares. He was told that he had been bewitched by a beautiful lady. When he awoke, she was gone and he was lying alone on a hillside.
